Week 3
During this week the most enjoyable thing to me was seeing the different presentations on genetic disorders. Although I think we all soon came to realize that it was more difficult to put the 4th grade presentation than we thought. But I also believed that we noticed how that could and should be done and how we could correct it next time. Overall this was the most interesting thing for me this week.

Week 2
During this week, the most interesting thing for me was the part where we "had a child" with someone else in the room. It was pretty neat to see the different possibilities for the child we had. This project made it easier and also more simple to understand karyotyping and how the division of chromosomes between parents was done. So over all this week was a interesting week in Biology.

Week 1
During this week we have been dealing with genetics. On how the use of punnet squares plays a roll in it. The different types of hybrid crosses, and the differences between dominant and recessive traits. We also learned how to cross blood types, which you can also use to test and see if your child is really yours, or which man is the actual father. Although this is not the best way to test this it can still be done. This type of testing only narrows down a few of the possibility's, not necessarily giving the set in stone result for who the father is or if you have the correct baby. Basically this week we learned how to use punnet squares and the different rolls that are involved with them.
