Week 8

This week in biology, we did dissections. This is what I liked the most about class this week. Because we were able to do plenty of hands on activity's by doing the dissections. I also enjoyed being able to see all of the systems in the frog, and just being able to see what makes up the inside of amphibians. During the dissection, it was easy to see how closely the inside of a frog resembles a human body. So the dissections were my favorite part this week.

Week 7

This week we have been working with plants and bacteria as well as working on our Pollution and Enviromental country projects. We started out the week by doing labs with plants and observing the bacterias; Euglena, Paramecium, And Amoeba. I found all these labs and work with these two topics very interesting. But what I liked the most was the projects. Because it involved using all the different web tools available. It allowed you to learn new tools and different ways to use technology to present a topic.

Week 4

For this week, the thing I enjoyed the most was the bean eater lab. This to me was a fun, but very good learning process to learn about natural selection and genetic variation. So this was my favorite part of this week.

Week 6

This week in biology we went outside on Tuesday to have a lab on observation of the organisms in the environment. We were handed a paper to write down all the organisms we heard or found. I found this activity very interesting because it was something I enjoyed doing. It was also in the field of work that I have thought about doing in my future. So this activity was my favorite part of the week.

Week 5

This week, although it was a short week I enjoyed getting to have the hands on activity for the learning of taxonomy, which is the classification of organisims. The way that we talked about it and experienced it hands on was a very unique and entertaining way to learn in my opinion.
